DJ EVOLVE IS NOT DEAD

 The family of Felix Orinda alias DJ Evolve has dismissed rumours that he is dead.

, his brother Andrew Orinda said that DJ Evolve was doing well and even having lunch together with the family at their home in Fedha Estate.

“God forbid! Those are very dangerous rumours and I can assure you that he is okay. He is even having his lunch,” he said.

On Tuesday morning, social media was awash with rumours that the DJ had died due to an injury he he sustained in January 2020- after he was allegedly shot at by Embakassi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino.

The matter is still in court.

The entertainer who until the shooting worked as a DJ at B Club, Kilimani in Nairobi was admitted to hospital and released mid-2020.

Orinda is currently at their home in Fedha Estate where he was taken after being discharged from Nairobi Hospital.

In February, his father John Orinda told the media that his son was really suffering and was always in pain due to the bullet that got stuck in his brain.

East Afica's &  Tanzania’s star Diamond Platnumz will try his luck at winning the BET award this year after he was nominated for the BET Awards 2021 in the Best International Act category.

He is the only artiste from the East and Central African region with a shot at the coveted awards which is set to be held on June 27.

Diamond Platnumz will tussle it out with fellow African artistes such as  Burna Boy and Wizikid both from Nigeria, Aya Nakamura (France), Emicida (Brazil), Headie One (UK) Young T and Bugsey (UK) and Youssoupha (France).

Madini Classic (John Phillip Ouma) is a Kenyan artist (singer). he adopted the name Madini Classic  from his grandfather who was well known for his mastery in gold mining in Tanzania, whom everyone nicknamed Madini (Minerals). However he also says he  got “Classic” from his profound esteem for Bongo star named Barnaba Classic.

Lomar aka Zum C is an artist who was born in Eastleigh and raised in Huruma Mathare Nairobi.I started singing when i was little, I sang for people at home and in gatherings.I recorded my first song when i was still high school.I got my stage name Zum C ,which is a short form of zoom carnage.The message in the name is to open our eyes to see the number of people we are losing in accidents which can be avoided.The name also relates to my ability to kill off big tunes. I have worked with several music producers and various studio,in 2015 i recorded my single known as Star at pacho entertainment ,the song was about my desire and ambition to be a great entertainer continue inspiring people through my music.Here again i come with another big tune known as TIKI TOKO which is all about time and things happening around me, moving while am not going on, the song is all about that.
